Distribution Transformer and Power Transformer

Distribution Transformer:

The transformer is used in the distribution of electrical energy. It is called Distribution Transformer. Its rating is 200 KVA and it is a step down type. In this transformer whether the load is loaded or not, it is functioning 24 hours a day. This means that iron lasts continuously throughout the day while copper is based on the load load. So much so that the load more loads of copper loses and loads less as copper Iron deficiency in such transformer should be lower than Copper Loss. In other words, the transformer's efficiency should be greater on the 50% load. Such transformer's voltage regulation should be good.

Power Transformer:

The transformer that is used for the transmission of electrical energy is called a power transformer. The rating of this transformer is 200KVA. Power transformer can be used to step up or step down the voltage on both ends of the power line at the generating station or substation Power transformer can not be one phase or three phase. Only when full load is available
